So I'm in need of advice. Right now I have a 29 gallon FOWLR that's been established for over 2 years, I've been taking care of it for 6 months. The tank's most recent addition is a Long Tentacle Anemone I bought about 1.5 months ago.

From what I''ve read you want a total GPH 20 to 30 times that of the size of your tank. So for a 30g including power filters and power heads you want 600+gph
As for placement it depends on what corals you have because they may require different amounts of flow. I would have an area of high flow...
oh snap, that sucks. That's is a possibility. If you were battling ich it probably would have been best to try and not change the tank environment for a good while. I've never experienced ich but that's just based on what others have said.
Congrats! Make sure to not buy your first fish until your tank is FULLY cycled.
A lot of people when they start a tank. They start a build thread, you can do that and upload pics and people can give you advice as you go along.

Remember you will only be able to have a total of about 5-6 fish (Assuming each one's grown size is 3" and are active swimmers). So choose wisely. But yeah if you want a firefish I would recommend it being the 1st one into the tank. They can by shy and skittish at first. And after that try...
