I have been reading up on the Rainbow sharks and seen that you should just keep one. She said that they have been in the tank together for a long time. Got the tank today! Im so glad I bought it. There was so much stuff with it. All kinds of different food, water cemicals, plants that where still in the package, 2 vacuums, air hoses, 4 big logs, and all kinds of small decorations. The only thing im not sure about is the fish that came with it...

This is a picture of the tank. I told her I want it and will be picking it up tomorrow. I guess there are some fish that will come with too. She thought she had someone to take them but it dident work out. This will make 3 tanks! And to think this all started with a 1 gallon fish tank 6 years...

I know someone that is selling a 45 gallon corner aquarium with wood stand. Its a real nice set up. It comes with your basic filter, heater, lights and some decorations. They are asking $100.00 for it and I was wandering if that is a good deal or not? What do you think?

I was too! Thats why I grabbed them both!. Usually they don't have any or the ones they have are so brown looking you don't want them. Will keep looking to see if they get any others in that look that good.

I do know that 40+40=80. But when you have an electrician tell you that 2 40 watt bulbs make 40 watt, well I guess I believed him. Sorry about all the confussion. And thank you for all your help everyone.

Yes, they are 2 40 watt bulbs. Doesent that still give you 40 watt total? Thats what I was always told. Sorry about that.

Thanks for letting me know about the ferts smitty. This tank has been up and running for about 6 years and finally thinking about adding a few plants. I was thinking about some Java moss on some driftwood. Starting out slow and will eventually add more lighting. Its 40 watts total.
