does it change the watts per gallon? cuz i turned my tank into a paludarium and i took out the other lights. this tank use to have 140 watts of light. but now the tank is growing algea on the leaves of the plants like no other :(

i have the same question with peruvian puffers, when ever i clean the tank or net them, they never puff. 8O

yeah i have 3 wpg, and i've seen the calculator, and i think that thing is only for dry ferts, not liquid ferts :(

i wish my heavy planted tank has that much nitrates :D anyway, there are some plants out there that any kind of fish won't touch. Try Java ferns.

i do have the kits, and everytime i test it, the nitrate levels are almost 0 and the phopates are always at .1 After i dose the tank, how long should i wait until i test the tank again, so i'll know if i dosed the right amount?

I dose Iron and K daily, and tropica master grow once a week. Now the algea is all over. I'll probably do a water change today. The water is a little foggy too, i tested the nitrites and the color that i got from the test isn't even on the color chart! WTF?! the color chart ranges from light...
