Constant battle! It's a double edge sword adding elements true! But the rewards with diligent care out weigh the negatives in my opponion.

I have found that dosing tanks with coral on a weekly basis is a great way to keep your corals vibrant and increases coral growth! This is my Duncan coral that grew to over 85 heads within two years. I bought it as a 4 headed frag and have it under a 400 watt metal halide.

Well the bar has just been set higher yet again. That coral growth is awesome! Everything seems to be thriving.

Just got this guy last week he is opening more and more every day the number of polyps are steadily increasing but some of the arms have a clear film coating and those arms polyps aren't opening so any advice would be appreciated greatly!! Reefality
