I just inspected them closely. The one with the black mask has no white spots at all- the other has 2 small on the top of the tail.

UGH! I am familiar with ich but have never had fish with this . Do I need to just monitor or consider treating ? I usually am so cautious with my tank and don't want to jeopardize the others. Also surprised as I purchased them from a reputable source.

I definitely didn't think this out... but I am able to return them at any time so I am going to monitor and see what happens. I just couldn't pass them up.

So I have been running a 36 gallon bowfront for about 6 years. My current stocking is : 6 neon tetras 6 Harlequin rasboras 5 Cory cats ( 2 bronze, 3 pandas) 2 Panda Garras 1 hybrid molly They are all adults with the oldest being the bronze cories at 6 years old. I had a gourami for 2 years...

Thanks everyone. We had Nerite snails in my bigger tank and loved them. This guy is really cool and leopard is a bonus. But I will be careful with feeding. ?

Hello all. Just discovered this hitchhiker in my daughter's 15 gallon. We bought a couple of new plants about 2 weeks ago so this snail must have snuck in. What is it ? It moves faster than other snails I am familiar with and looks like an alien. ?

Then definitely no angelfish. �� Although my shrimp are tough - I've seen them rear up and strike the big bronze cories to move them away from the food. Quite comical.

Thank you. Never considered an angelfish. I was under the impression that they prey on shrimp ?

Good point with the Gourami. And yes my last one was raised in the tank and was quite mellow. Do you see any issue with Rams and the Cory's?
