You can super glue moss to hardscape items. It's a very easy way to add texture to an otherwise plantless tank.

I'm setting up my tank again. I have a goldfish barrel with no mechanical filtration. It has lilies in it. Can I seed my new filter media in the barrel by dipping it in there, and how long would it take to grow the bacteria needed?
