    its either my crayfish is.

I have a rather large blue crayfish, he does hide for long periods before shedding. If you dont have a spot for them to hide, then they will obviously be in the open looking lazy.

    HELP! 135 Gal sprung a leak! :(

I think it has to be from the bottem seal, I have gone all around the edges and have found no water. :( Petsmart will replace it, but getting a 135 gal anywhere is not a fun task.

    HELP! 135 Gal sprung a leak! :(

Well, the puddle in the floor should have been an indication huh? My 135 gal looses 5-10 gal a day to my floor. I really do not have a ton of fish in it, nicest thing is my blue lobster. Is their any way to find / fix the leak without a total drain?

All my fish are dropping dead!

A ...REALLY good idea would be to preform a 50% water change, let the water heat up to 75 F + and add a large dose of BioSpira. Buy that at your LFS. You probably have a nitrite or ammonia spike. You might also want to check the PH of the water. I have never kept shrimp, so I am not sure what...

    Molly breading questions

I purchased some mollies for both of my tanks, and they are really graceful fish. I put all black ones in my 135 gal and mixed colors in m 150 gal. I guess I was cooking them as my temp in my 150 stayed about 83 F, so I turned it down and havent lost anymore so far. My question is, how often do...

HELP: Trying to understand canister filters... Yes, STILL =/

I think I use a pretty good setup on my 150 gal. I have had a Fluval 404 that did an ok job, but I was underfiltered. After a green bloom, I added a Magnum 350 pro and it has done a great job of keeping the water clean. Why this combo you ask? This is why: The Fluval 404 has great surface...

Wierd losses on JUST loaches and one Molly...

Dont think a brownout would have caused it, underground utilities, and my clocks were not messed up. I have 2 heaters in there just incase one malfunctions off, and I have a alarm on my temp so it beeps if it exceeds 84.

Wierd losses on JUST loaches and one Molly...

When I left this morning, all my fisn in my 150 gal were fine, got home, I had 2 floating Clown Loaches, 2 sunk Clowns, and 1 floating Molly. Water parameters are great, no detectable amonia or nitrite, here is the rest of the stock: 10 or so angels 4 1 year old Silver Dollars 8, well now 7...

    community tank--species/equip/everything!

Serpae are deffinately more hardy, and the bleedings are a great fish in general. I would be careful with barbs, as mine are a pain. Good luck, I would sudgest another filter, but that SHOULD work.

    Got a big fish!

I was at a aqurium yesterday, they had a big fish exibit, including your Pacu there, you would be doing yourself a favor to take it back, even for store refund, a partial refund, or none at all. My 135 and 150 gal each cost around 2,000 completely set up.
