I had six, but recently lost one (he was sick since new) so now I have 5, I was looking to increase their numbers, but i'm holding out at the moment to see just how nippy they can be... (will decide future choices etc etc). I hope you can work out whom the culprit is, but its true, don't rule...

I just put in a nice school of neons, and I found that my skirted tetra would also nip and kill the neons, learnt that the hard way (thanks LFS, not!) and in my tank I only have cory's and two plecco, so unless they turned viscous, it had to be the skirted tetra, which are known to be nippy...

That was along my line of thinking. May i ask, do you have all the inlets at one end, and the outflows at the other? Or are they split up so that an inlet and an outflow live at each end of the tank? Sent from my iPad using Aquarium

I have a Hagen fluval 405 and personally, I think it is a tad undersized for a 100gal tank, but that's just me, it does work, and works well, but I would have liked a bigger filter (followed LFS advice). Might have to get a larger one come Xmas ;-) Sent from my iPad using Aquarium

Nah, it's an aquarium background that is black on one side and dark blue on the other (reversible) it is the same stuff that the printed aquarium backgrounds are made of, you just have to sticky tape it to the back of the aquarium, nothing fancy.. Sent from my iPad using Aquarium

Hi all, Can some please be kind enough to ID this plant for me? I have forgotten the name of it, so i cannot research if it is truly an aquatic plant, the LFS said it is, but, well, you know them, and that's why we're here :-) The pot is a crypt, that's all I know, to the right are the pink...
