How does everyone add calcium for crustacens

I just tried adding an angelfish to a tank that had another angelfish. The old fish tried t kill the new one and i had to move it to another tank. now I have a tank that is a bit overstocked

I had no idea there were regional forums........

i feel that with a good water change or two right before you leave you should get buy unless you are really overstocked, There are 10 day feeding blocks available. not sure about 2 1/2 weeks.

I know lots of fish need some veggies in the diet. I have some dryed veggie rounds that i use occasionally but would like to know.... what kind of real veggies do you feed and how do you deliver them and recover uneaten portions.

regarding big box pet stores, there are 2 by same company in my area. One has good people running it that are somewhat informed and keep things clean and up to snuff, the other one is awfull. They are not all the same.

do daily water changes of 30% and treat with prime each time

I have a similar problem and found that reducing the hours of light helped minimize the problem. I cleaned some of mine by rubbing between my fingers but there has to be a better way, I just don't know it,

I haave a C4 in a 26 gal bowfront and have been quite happy with it. Also have a 20 gal with a C3 that is doing well

I usually do about 30% change and never seen more than 2 degrees F. change in water temp. I use a water changer and so temp coming out of the tap is only a guess. That is why i try to keep changes to about 30%. if you changed 50% with 9 degree difference, by the time you factor in gravel...

I have tried but so far they have evaded all attempts. they live under a rock and I can't get behind the aquaruim. Have tried just holding the camera blind but no luck.

since they are .5 in they have a good chance. Largest fish there are dwarf goramies.

think i may have ich in one of my tanks. have been reading about salt treatment. I have read the salt should be used for 2 weeks at 2-3 ppm. anyone translate that to how much salt per gallon? also i have 3 corys in the tank. will they tolerate the salt??

how big is the container or water bottle

I have a platy who is suddenly after everything that moves. It is in a heavily planted tank and I want to move him but cant catch him.Anyone have any clever ideas about trapping this bad boy :hide:

I always leave my filter off for a few minutes after water change to give the prime time to do its thing

I think you should look seriously at your stocking level. seems to me like a lot of fish for 37 gal. are you doing ammonia, nitrite and nitrate tests and if so what are the results?

I have a 26 gal bowfront with 4 corys 6 harlequin rasboras and 5 seriph tetras. Want to add bolivan ram but dont want overload in tank. Do they do well as a single speciman or should i get two and if two, same or separate sexes. appreciate insight from anyone with experience here

I always turn off filters while feeding to keep them from hoovering up all the food
