yeah thats what i had in mind. the only thing that made me think about the xp3 is that it might be too much water current in the tank. Cuz my friend has an xp3 and that jet pumps out some water. But i'll probably end up getting a xp3 more then likely. Thanks alot guys.

You only have that one power filter for filtration? If so, I"d go and get another power filter. You have a decent size tank, alittle more filtration would hurt a thing. I was lookin and reading up on some auto feeders for my tank. One reason cuz i'm never able to have a nice set schedule for my fish. But i was thinking of getting one. Has anyone have or used an auto feeder before? If you did how well did they work? Thank you everyone for your time reading this...

All I did was coil mine the opposite way for alittle while and it straightened it out ...not perfectly...but good enough to work with it.

Yeah that shouldn't be an issue. I have a Whisper 30-60 and the Aqua-Tech 20/40 that came with the tank in my 29 gal tank and it doesn't bother them at all.

Well if you plan on getting another heater I'd look up on getting a Visi-Therm Deluxe Heater. My friend has 2 for his 55gal and it works really good. Check them out see what you think.

You'll be fine just wash it really good before u put it in. and of course make sure they're not any sharp edges as mentioned. good luck and welcome to AA
