Hey guys, I've noticed a nitrate spike to 20ppm (mg/L). My ammonia and nitrite are both zero. pH and alkalinity good. It is a 120G fish only with only a majestic angel in it. Is that going to be harmful to it? What should I do? TIA

I was considering a majestic angel, but read conflicting reports on their difficulty to keep. Has anyone had experience with this species that they can share with me? TIA.

Hey guys, I can't get my new 120 below 80. I attribute this problem to the 2 Cascade 1500 Canister filters I have running... has anyone else had a problem with these filters heating up the water like that? Also is 80-83 degrees going to be harmful for a FO tank?

ok, bout to fill my tank. I'm using RODI water from the grocercy store. I'm not sure if it has chlorine in it or not... probably so. Anyhow, is it ok if I mix the seasalt and then let it sit for a week or more to naturally dechlorinate? Or, should I use a dechlorinator and then add seasalt?

Has anyone had any success with triggers and any type of invertebrate? I want one, but I'm afraid that it would eat my cleanup crew... What do you think?

I just got a new refrac and the instructions are a bit confusing. It tells me that the ambient room temperature for proper calibration is 68F. Is that correct? It also says that shifts in ambient room temperature will require recalibration for accurate readings..? I don't understand that...
