I bought some purigen to use in my XP3 and i was wondering if it is ok to use womans stockings as a bag to put it in. I tried a regular bag but the holes are to big and the purigen made a mess on my floor.

I know anything below 10 is acceptable for nitrates when you have coral in your tank. My Nitrates usually never go above 15 would this be ok. I want to get some coral frags but dont want to wait until i get a refugium which i will get some time in the upcomming months.
