I had a few people tell me it was a Juv RBTA. I do have what I think is an apista in the tank it has much thinner tenticles and it is grey with patches of white in it. It looks nothing like what is in the pictures.

I'd really like to use the skimmer I have hanging on the back of my 55 thats is coming down once the 150 is up and running. But like I said it is a hang on back setup. I'm not sure how to deal with the water fallin 6 inches or so back into the sump.

Yeah I heard the bio balls can cause nitrate problems, thats why I was thinking of going with both the balls and the live stuff. When I said plastic I ment plexi glass or acrylic. I wondered which would be better the glass or the acrylic? I'll call around to some glass shops tomorrow. Thanks

I have been thinking kind of the same thing. I can't find southdown or old castle any where down here. I was thinking go with a couple of inches of quickrete sand then a couple more inches of the good stuff. My only concern would be the difference in colors if the sand some how got stired up.
