Selling my 6months old Remora with Maxijet 1200. Upgrading to a bigger tank.

Can't remember the name of the small white curly "worm" on the LR (see pic below). I know they are filter feeder and suppose to be harmless. However, recently they start to take over my tank especially on the glass. Any concern for this.

Hi all, I have about 2" sugar size sand setup, so it isn't a DSB. Is this bad? Read somewhere that if you use sand, you need a DSB, if not it is a nutrient sink. How true this is?

I use my Deep Six Hydrometer and set my tank to Salinity of 1.024. Just got my Refractometer last night and and lo and behold, its reads 1.029. Man, don't ever trust those hydrometer. I lost my yellow tank recently, wondering whether it could be the high salinity killing it.

Just saw that my cleaner shrimp develop some black spots on both side of the head. Is this something I should be concern about? He is acting normal and is very active during feeding time. I read somewhere that the black spot is due to age, others says it is a disease.
