thanks for the help. the reason why there are snails all over the place is because when we first go Verde we had him in the 80gal but moved him into the 20 because he started to eat my other fishies (stupid me lol). the 20gal was a temp home until the 30gal was ready. thats why those tanks still...

we lost our beloved little green spotted puffer, Verde, monday night. I was treating him for IPs and i guess they got to him to fast. Atleast i think thats what was wrong. I dont believe it was ich because there were no spots. He just had white stringy feces and he wasnt eating his favorite...

so every morning when i wake up i go and turn on the lights on my GSPs tank. This morning I woke up and did the same thing, except i slept in so i was about half an hour late. mollies aren't actually a schooling fish. but if you're getting more than one you need a gender ratio i think its three females to one male. other wise the males will just pick on the female constantly. and you would have to be prepared for the fry explosions. i had 15 mollies in my 80 gal...

so i'm planning on doing a high light planted tank. my tank is 30x12.5x16 (L x W x H) what kind of light do i need to get for best results. I havent done much research for plants yet but after having great results in my 80gal low lites i want to try something else. Help Please!
