    Basically the point of coloring them is to appeal to young children, and to coy the parents to get a tank for them with glofish. A marketing tool if you ask me.

    well, looks like ive got some time to enjoy seeing them grow bigger. is there a reccomended amount for a 55 gallon once they are full size?? ive heard 6 is the max for full sized. i just wanna be sure, so i can rehome them.

    In my experiences, the regular danios live longer than the Glofish you see at pet stores. the dye used harms the fish, and they dont live long. in my opinion, i would much rather buy regular danios. and the colored dont school with the regular ime.

    Anyone know how long it takes for angels to pair up?? Their bodies are quarter sized, and i got them somtime between april 22nd and april 25th.

    I had forgot to mention i have 6 peppered cories in the tank. And since this post i bought 2 more angels of ths same size. Im also getting more cardinals when i ave the change. I did have 5 but two died.

    it just needs enough water put in the filter to start up. dont change the pads until they fall apart. not sure if it needs to be in the back, but im sure it does. and no, a filter cant, it should take the ammonia out when the water passes through, unless its too small of a filter for the tank.

    I've never had Mopani, I just had driftwood before. I wanted the tannins because I have Angelfish.

    My local Pet Supplies Plus decided to start carrying Mopani Driftwood :) im so happy!!!!! I've been going there for maybe 10 to 12 months and they just now started, and they have some pretty large pieces. Glad i donthave to order it anymore!!!     I have a standard 55 gallon with the following. 2 nickel sized angelfish, 6 serpae tetras, one german blue ram, 3 cardinal tetras and about 5 mystery snails, what should i do as far as stocking this? Thanks!
