I came home today to find a dried out brichardi on the carpet :cry: :drain:. She escaped through a very small hole where I used to have a second heater. Will the male brichardi ever find another mate? If I introduce another brichardi, will it eat all the babies?

Was doing a wc today and spotted 40-60 new brichardi fry! Looks like they just finished their yolk sacs. The 3/4" fry dont seem to mind them at all.

My betta builds enourmous bubble nests. Over half of my 2.5g is covered in bubbles.

Is it possible that the platy is female? If it is the guppy might be trying to mate with it

if its planted I reccomend amano shrimp. I have 6-7 amanos in my planted tank and they keep it spotless.

I agree with afilter. Discus are very challenging fish to keep as they need pristine water quality. And in most cases a species only tank. Any tetra would make good schooling fish. Tiger barbs are an option

The "cycle" stuff doesn't work. Try either a fishless cycle (reccomended), or the old-fashion way, with hardy fish. I'm sure BrianNY can help you out with discus.

Actually grimlock, all clown loaches are wild caught :P
