I keep trying to buy plants and keep them alive in my 55 gal but they always die... What are some easy plants to keep alive that will flourish

Well he seems to have calmed down when I place a more predatory fish in the tank they both avoid each other and calmed down and eat flakes I'm considering adding another gourami seeing if his territorial attitude returns

I can only hope your wrong. He's a beautiful fish it'd be a shame to have to put him in an isolated tank with feeder guppies

The thing is he is a very large gourami about 5inches

Well I've seen him chase the others when they try and move out From behind there hiding spot and he has tried to nip at some of my other fish.

So I just bought five or six new fish for my tank, a couple of Cory cats and a Bichir. everyone seems to be doing fine and getting along with the other inhabitants but the Bichir never seems to eat. He is my favorite fish so I was curious as to wether or not I should be worried about him? 55gal...
