CUC in the tank now and doing good! Also attached to one of the turbo snails was a small starfish it looks like Sorry for crap pic but it's so tiny that's the best I can do! It's green that's all I can see and looks like its had a leg nibbled!

Well According to my local fish shop I'm cycled already, my levels are as this Everything is 0 ppm apart from nitrate which looks about 2.5 to me which I read is acceptable! Water is 1.025 salinity which is good so they told me I'm ready for a clean up crew! I have currently got 6...

True both ways u look at it, ya either pay through the nose to run the standard bulbs or pay through the nose to buy led lights. Either way costs I suppose!

Something to look out for are the clip on led lighting if u want running costs low

U can use anything really so long as its cut to shape or fits in it. It's good for its flow and optional height nozzle

A gd small filter I have used before is a fluval u2, you can either have the flow from the top, middle or bottom which would be preferred for a poco reef so ya getting a power head and a filter in one. Just a thought

wow that goby is actually really nice, never really thought of gobies as most are, in my eyes, rather plain and boring. I love striking fish and that goby does look nice. Now to try find some at my lfs. if my lfs stocks tmc fish couldnt i just put an order in for their next batch ya think??

awww thats such a shame, dont want to entertain it if its a pain to feed. is there any other beautiful overlooked fish you can keep in a 24g nano!? Getting the itch to setup a 100-200g tank for a lionfish now :s i got the bug arghhh lol

Green Mandarin - Aquatics to your Door

Has anyone got any experience with a Green Mandarin fish at all? Just found them and they only get about 8cm and are reef friendly apparently, amazing looking fish!! They ok in nano's? might get one of them instead of a royal gramma

Is your power head flow adjustable? Or too high in the water at all? Mine done that I just put it an inch or 2 lower and turned it down!

One idea would be to tie some netting over them so pump can pump out but small fish can't get in!? I shall be doing that when it comes to it

Haha I hear that! Mine has only been cycling for a day and a half and I'm getting impatient lol! Won't Impulse buy though as wanna do this right! Done that mistake with my first Freshwater tank :(
