Nope not prime. Im based in UK and we use tetra - Aquasafe. Yeah I'm supprised about it too, Maybe I'm just unlucky, or did something wrong. However, still going to keep up water changes. Sticking with 25% pwc is ok? Will keep updated.

So, I've done 25% pwc yesterday and today. Nitrites still at 0.25ppm. Should I carry on just doing 25% pwc? Or do I need to increase the amount?

The whole filter including media was added. All I added to new tank was same fish, no additional. Tank before was fully cycled. Must have lost some bacteria like Eco mentioned. Will try pwc and hopefully be back to normal soon.

Hi, Last Week upgraded from 10G to 50G. Moved the filter into the 50G, with the fishes in there too. Tested the water today and read: Ammo: 0ppm NitrIte: 0.25ppm NitrAte: 10ppm Should i be concerned about the nitrIte being this level? anything i should do?

Hi, Ive currently got a 10G tank which has been running for over 6months (fully cycled). Im thinking about upgrading to a 50G already. Instead of cycling my new tank, could i just use all the filter media i currently have for the 10G into my 50G? Then slowly add more fish? Thanks,

I don't think you need to worry at all. I didn't see any nitrites until 40+ days. Now I've been fully cycled for a few weeks. Just keep it going.
