    One more Ecocomplete (substrate) Question

Hi, I have introduced "ecocomplete" to my aquarium. After 3 days, the water is still slightly cloudy. I would like to clear it up by doing a 75% water change. Will this remove all of the good nutrients? It's just the water (with the clouds and dust), not the 'dirt'. Thanks

    Semi-submerged Plants

Thank you 8) We'll see how it goes here over a few weeks, then. If I can find a way to compress the pixel format of my pictures, I will post them then. I do not know how to do this. It will take time to balance a CO2 system with a suitable habitat for amphibians but it'll be fine...

    Ozone (anyone?)

Hello, I am now running ozone at about 25mg/hr for a 130 gallon total tank. (I will turn it back to 15mg/hr when I get a reading) It includes a meter that records the total oxygen in the water. So far, over a several day period, I have a 001 reading. Normal readings should be around 320...

Brown Algae on Sand -- Killin' Me -- OUCH

Hi All :) I've got a brown algae problem after being away from my aquarium on business for 2 months. Within hours, a thin hairy layer of brown algae grows quite rapidly on my aragonite sand. I have tried good waterflow, charcoal, and phospate sponges in the filter along with rigorous...
