Oh I just had the growing cheap lights from Walmart and then I added some act relic to keep all the moisture inside the tank and keep it off the wood: work great , then I used a corilife 50/50, and some LEDs from lowes for nighttime, when I don't want to use the ant growing ones.

Can you test your ppm with one of those machine things ( oh I don't know the name of it) but they sell them at fosters pet store? And just go by ppm or you must know kh and dh ?

Beautiful rams , I think when it comes to rams it depends if you got a good colorful pair in the first place.

Are they African cichlid blood parrot fish, if so they eat anything that fits in there mouth and guppies would be a treat. I wouldn't attempt it.

Ok I bought a qt tank and used some of the same water from my 125 gallon tank , how long does it need to cycle ? It's a ten gallon with a Penn plax sponge and floss filter and heater .

My local fish store guy and I talk alot and he has been doing this his whole life , he says you don't really need the co2 . But I really want it because I like the plants alot, but I can see a difference in color without the light .
