OMG don't forget about the Neons(personal favorite) I admit they aren't the most hardy of schooling fish but once you establish a large school of them in your tank their very beautiful to watch. just my 2 cents :mrgreen:

I tend to name as many as possible, kinda hard to name a school of 16 neons but in Oscar tank my Oscars are Bonnie and Clyde and the pleco Is named Slick. In my guppy tank I have a pleco named Hoover I also have 2 huge Mollies named Rosanne and Dan, 2 swordtails named Al and Peg :)

I don't think they'll ever be buddies, it seems to be just a temperary passiveness because of the new environment and being netted. Every Oscar I have seen once he figures out that he can bully others and intimidate them has always gotten worse over time. plus the size difference means there's...

cool shot Imw80, I keep forgetting to get me some broccoli from the store to see how well my fish like it.. I've tried cucumber and banana so far; the plecos love the cucumber and everyone loves the bananas except for the neons. Bananas like to float so poke a couple of plant lead weights in it.

Chile, I'm sorry to hear that :( I live next to you in Georgia and was hit by Ivan also but managed to not lose power thank goodness or I would have lost my Oscar tank and others.......

Really don't think the Clown Loaches will be any issue for you or your corys. I have 5 in one of my tanks and they are probably th emost peaceful ,playful fish i have well other then my Neons.. Shoot my Pleco messes with my plants more then anyone and My mollies are meaner then any clown loach...

It's only used to trap stuff ( poop, food, rotting plants etc ) so I would only change it when rinsing it doesn't work anymore and you see the water going over it instead of threw it 8)

Arguing with Menagerie is futile :mrgreen: easier to just get the cute little thing :)

very sharp fish Chiselchst, brought back memories of catching Rockbass around my dads house in Michigan. They looked just like that but alot darker, almost black in color. pretty neat to say the least :D

Well I can't think of anything I would change even if I had a wild hair to do something, you'd probably be suprised where I have my Oscar tank though :mrgreen: wish I knew how to post pictures, if I did you would already have been spammed with em :wink:

I use 2 big pieces of malaysia wood and love the way it looks,sinks, is really dark and sinks immediately but I would like to see this swahala wood Tankgirl mentions :wink:

lol Tankgirl, not thinking of re-doing anytanks because someone might see em. I absolutely love the way their set up now, it's just the extremely large gravel in my oscar tank is gonna be their death i'm afraid. You know from the Catfish post I made on General discussion and got feedback.

I have 5 Clown Loaches in my 55 planted and never seen one of them bother a plant. Well I take that back they do seem to nibble one this huge plant I have in there but no idea what it is. AND no snails ever :D
