i have 14 african cichlids with an adult silver shark and bristlenose catfish in a 270l tank, ive had them for two months now and was wondering how to keep them at their most colourful?

exact same thing with my tire track eel. a month ago i got 4 new african cichlids to add to the tank and for the last two and a half weeks its been in the same condition js this eel and its sk4n is peeling. dont know how to help the poor thing :/

okay, posted multiple times and have had barely any help. the last 3 nights ive noticed my tire track eel cant close its mouth. its lower jaw is swollen and all around where its teeth are is red. it also wont eat. someone please help.

Why would you go with all male? because of the fact I got 2 yellow lab males the bigger one has non stopped bullied the littler one to the point where its lost its coloring, doesn't eat and hides all day. I actually think its going to die. Why would you go with all males?

it seems pretty bad. It wont close its mouth and doesnt eat properly. I have just bought a api master test kit and some melafix online. will the melafix help? I really cant have my eel die, it is the reason i got my tank.. :/

i thought driftwood was a no no in cichlid tanks as it lowers the ph? whatd you glue them there with? also where did you get all your rocks? the idea of buying them sounds stupid to me so ive avoided it but is that the way to go?
