    Unusual betta behavior.

and, honestly, 2 bettas in a 2/3gal container is to much IMHO. Not 2/3, 1 2/3

    Unusual betta behavior.

As far as I know, when two male bettas are able to get to each other they will fight to the death, right? I have two (a purple and a very light white/blue) that I keep in a 1 2/3 gallon tank that is divided by a piece of screen like for windows. Recently, I noticed they had somehow switched...

What's an ideal use for a 20 gal high?

That's what I was thinking I would use it for. Right now they aren't that big so I guess I have a little time.

What's an ideal use for a 20 gal high?

I have a chance to get a used twenty gal high setup and stand for cheaper than usual. What is an ideal use for a tall tank like that? I want to make sure will have a good use for it.

    Compatability question.

My decision is not yet set in stone. I wish it was. I've been researching for quite a while.

    Painted glass fish???

You can buy blue neons and get pretty much the same affect as a painted glassfish. Their blue stripe just seems to sparkle.

    Compatability question.

I'm not going to be worried about my loaches getting too big. My mom has a tank with one she's had for a while. It seems to be a very slow grower.

    just got tank from friend

Warm water and a weak chlorine/water solution should be okay. Just be sure to rinse it out very well. It would probably be easier if you let everything soak it warm water for a while first. Except for the hood. I don't think getting water in any of the lighting parts would be a good idea.

    need help

Geez, twenty 20 gals? What are you going to do with all those? Do you run a shop or are you doing some major breeding? Or both?

    Nervous Newbie!

If there is actually something wrong I would say that this is probably most accurate. Of course, there is that fact that saltwater fish are just kinda iffy. That's why pet stores have no guarantee on them. I had two clowns die for no apparant reason before. Those were perculas. I had heard they...

    10 gallon help

Put in plenty of plants and I'll bet 2-3 tetras and about 10 neons would look nice. After having properly cycled it of course. After that add the tetras then add the neons in, I guess, two groups of five. Just don't rush anything.

    Damsels and Clownfish together?

Check out my signature. I don't have any problems. Little scuffles upon introduction, but that's it.

Is that suppose they are compatible if the tank is good?

    Keeping South American Cichlids

What all could I keep in a 75 gallon tank? Provided I got them all while they are still young (I know that doesn't always help but it's a step). I really like Oscars and Jack Dempseys, and would like to be able to keep at least one of each in there.

    get rid of copper

I've put copper in my tank before, but a recent water test at my lfs doesn't detect any anymore. I figured I'd test it on a snail.

Trying to decide on what to do with my 75 gal.

Oh, yeah. Thanks, Rocket. I forget about that. Number three reason is I simply do not have the cash to do such a project.

Trying to decide on what to do with my 75 gal.

I love the idea of a big marine tank, but I have two reasons for not doing that. 1. I am a senior in high school this year. I would hate to build up such a big, nice saltwater tank then go to college and not get to be around it. And have to worry about whether people at home are caring for it...

Trying to decide on what to do with my 75 gal.

I've been trying to figure out what I want to do with the 75 gal I'm getting ready to set up. I was thinking of getting an aggressive tank with barbs and other things. I thought with that I might be able to mix in some electric yellow cichlids. Also, I'd like to know what I could potentionally...

    How venomous is a lionfish?

I would be extremely careful with anything that can give a venomous sting. As stated above it is extremely painful. I don't believe you will have to worry about it attacking you. Just make sure you don't get too close.

HELP!! My clown fish seems to be dying

You do know you can edit posts instead double posting don't you? Or in your case, triple posting. Anyway, how long have you had the clownfish? If you just got him, do you know if it's wild or tank bred. I think perculas have been shipping badly all over the country.

"New kid on the block" type story.

Ever since I added some live rock mine has been having a ball. It was sort of my replacement for a yellow tang. I wanted some yellow.

    New anemones

The thing is my tank has one of those foam bio-filters in it. So I don't really have a ton of room for the rock. I am going to be putting in 3 more pounds this Tuesday. I'll see what it looks like after that. I'll try and get pictures, but I don't know how long it will be.

"New kid on the block" type story.

Sorry, I had a brain fart or something. I meant southwest. Here's a map. http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/united_states/tennessee_90.jpg I live in the county just below the first "N". My town is actually on the map. I don't know how they managed that.

    New anemones

Yeah, seriously, dude. Just tell a person whether or not it's the best plan.
