Hey guys,
I have a 50 gallon tank with one angelfish that's a good size.
Other fish,
-5 cardinals
-7 rummys
-5 emperor tetras
You guys think I'd be pushing it with a pair of gbrs?
The tanks heavily planted.
So my 45 gallon leaked and I let it dry for two days I filled it with water and it held well.
Now the problem
I'm holding the fish and plants in a 25ish gallon tank with the heater from the 45 and a bubbler.
I saved all the old filter media in tank water and have it running again on the 45

Hi everyone as you can see in the title I'm looking for adult or larger angelfish I've been looking around but just find bulk deals of juvenile angelfish.
Thanks,
This is my first time putting an angelfish in a community tank i normally feed them flakes abs bloodworms
But the other fish go up quicker and beat the angelfish to the food it only gets a few bits
In your experience:
1. Wait till the angel fish learns to go for the food
2. Feed him with tongs
Duckweed from my shrimp tank got into my planted tank and it's spread fast over 3 days I need to get rid if it
Any good techniques you guys have used to get rid of it?
I see that most of my female RCS are saddled I've read that it will be about 3 weeks till they develop eggs
But I wanna get some experiences from people who have owned them
Thanks
I got a new betta but I'm having trouble feeding him the 10 gallon he's in is much to heavily planted and he can't see the food at the top from all the plants up there
My old one learned to just swim up and go in the cup to get fed but I had him for so long that I can't remember how I even...
I bought some congos for my 40 gal all of them look fine getting nice color but I noticed the larger of them has the slightest curve at his tail and I know this is bad news for tetras
My question is that if with time it'll recover with good water quality ?
Or it'll get worse as time passes ?
Thanks
I'm considering getting an angel fish for my 40 gallon community and if course their cichlids so most cichlids set plants
But I've gotten conflicting answers with angel fish can anyone help clear this up?
Thanks
So I made a water change and now the waters cloudy I think it's that certain sink that makes the water cloudy should I just do a water change from another sink?
Finally converting my goldfish tank to a tropical community tank!
And so far
Substrate:
2 bags of Eco-complete
1 bag floramax
Lighting:
x2 6700k bulbs
Insta cycling with the old media and another piece of media from my 10 gallon
My credit card seems to not be working so ordering stuff won't be an option for awhile
I managed to buy a bag of floramax at the lfs on clearance they will not be carrying it anymore
Can I still have a planted 40 gallon tank with sand and root tabs and the floramax mixed in?
The lights will be...
Post pics of your hygro plants I wanna see how large it can get in an actual pic
Instead of just reading the height of the Internet I'd trust it more seeing it visually
Thanks!
I have around 10 red cherry shrimp in a 10 gallon but I want to get more to start the colony faster
I'd prefer a cheap price I have spent a good amount on the shrimp tank setup and have other tanks to setup
Thanks!
I want to change my goldfish tank to a tropical tank but I heard there's complications to this?
I plan on taking out all the water from the goldfish tank and putting in new treated water
Can I still keep the media from the goldfish tank to seed the tank??
I see these white specs swimming around or jumping around in my tank??
Theirs nothing in there but snails that got in from plants
I'm getting RCS either Thursday or Friday so I kinda have to solve this if his is bad or good? Anyone know what it is?
Thanks
Ok so I found a shrimp breeder in my area
He offers:
Red cherry shrimp
Yellow shrimp
Blue pearl shrimp
I see they have the common starting of the scientific name Neocaridina so basically the same shrimp just color variation?
I have a cycled 10 gallon and I plan on either just cherries or put...
Just as the title reads I need a plant that is 21 inches tall or gets taller I'll just trim it
A plant that isn't so high maintenance or high light
Would an amazon sword grow that tall?
Thanks!
Ok so this started as a hermit crab tank for about a year but I decided to make it into a RCS tank
Here are some pics of how it started and the final build
I'm still seeding media from my other tank to cycle this tank
