I have had lionfish for years. I got a new v. Lionfish. He is very small. I got him to eat frozen no problem. The funny thing if he also has been eating flakes. I have never seen this. Anyone else? He is eating ever other day and growing fast as v lions do. So he should not be starving.

I have had a puffer for about a month now. Put in a new power head 2 weeks ago. The last 3 days now if the puffer gets to close to it he puffs up. Is this bad for him. Does it stress him. Sorry pic came out side ways

I live in fla. I wanna get some more live rock from the ocean this weekend. All my rocks are from the ocean here. Anything I should do to add more LR to the tank. Should I bake it. I have a fish only tank. Any advise would be great.

Think I can add another fish. I have a 110 tall. Black edge eel. Puffer Lionfish Humu trigger Undulated trigger yellow tang. Most all fish full grown or close to.

Added about a 4 inch puffer in my 110g tank on friday. The other 3 fish are small. Never had a ammonia problem. Now my readings for the last two days are. .25 ammonia 0 nitrites 20 nitrates. Should I water change or see if it balances back on its own.
