Well it happened I woke up last night at like 3 am and took a peek at the tank the scarlet and one of my bigger snails were in the mist of battle ( the snail won ) scarlet was out of her shell when I got up for work and the clennup crew had started working on her

thanks I am not sure how meny or what type of fish I will end up putting in the tank I am leaning twords less fish and more inverts.

I flated the bag for half an hour then I plkes some holes in ti so the water will mix abit for a nother 20 min but all three were in the same bag so thats not it.

I went to the LFS and picked up some Hermit crabs I got 2 Mexican Red legs and 1 Scarlet leg the crabs of mexican decent ran off and started cleaning but the scarlet didn't move he just sat there for like ten hours this morning he moved up on to a peace of LR should I be worried?

well the LR is covered with Feather dusters and bubble allege thats why I bought when I got home the fish and a snail were the extra gift

I put my wood in the sun for a few weeks then I just stick it in the bottom of my tank I never get brown water and as for sinking you just need to put something on top of it for a few days weeks depending on the size I get green allege on my wood it looks cool something out of the lord of the rings

The more Light the better for green brown needs less light try to find a plant at your lfs that has some alge on it then put it in your tank and turn the light on a little longer then normal

you can extend the hose take the ends off and get a longer piece of tubeing and put the connector ends back on I did this for a friend of mine and it works. his is 100' and no problems
