one of my snails cracked my heater and it blew up (sounded like a shot gun going off in my room it scared the crap out of me) luckily it tripped the breaker and no one got electrocuted the snail broke his shell he shot across the tank all my fish are freaked what can I do to calm them down or what should i do ? :(

Feed them and maybe stay away from the tank for a bit to help them calm down.

Is there glass on the substrate? I'm sure the fish recognize you fussing over the tank since the explosion. That prolly doesn't help them calm any. Just guessing.

I would look into a titanium heater, to avoid further "explosions".

Just maintain your calcium level through PWC's unless you have a heavy load on that.

How big a snail was this, and how did it crack the glass on the heater?

Hmmm, that sounds like a flaw in the heater. What brand was it, if you don't mind me asking....

Check your water parameters to make sure they are OK. It wight be a good idea to do a PWC just in case.
