    Powder Blue Tang Sick?

In my experience powder blue tangs are very difficult to keep. They are beautiful fish but very finicky and are very suseptible to disease. They also stress very easily so if there are any other fish that are somewhat aggressive they dont tolerate it well.

    Gonapora

    Six Line... Jumpers?

Yes they are all jumpers. I had a flasher wrasse jump a while ago. My tank is in my bedroom next to the door, and i had a bag hanging on the door. Well i didnt see my wrasse for a day or so so i thought it died in the rock somewhere. Couldnt find it anywhere. Then my cat started trying to...

    Starfish falling apart?

Just out of curiosity, how long did you have it? I have had those before and they didnt last long. Marbled sea star? Its a nice looking star though. Like I said...sorry for your loss. It's very disconcerting when something dies and you don't know what happened. Happens alot in this hobby though.

Does anyone know what this is

Yes he's the culprit! You can take him out and put him in a small dedicated tank or take him back to the fish store. People pay good money for them!

    Starfish falling apart?

Starfish are sometimes doomed from the start. What kind was it? Some are just plain difficult to keep and are expert only. I think alot of the problem is the way they are harvested. They shouldnt be exposed to air when putting them in the tanks. Even if you did everything right you can't...

White spot on power brown tang

make sure it is not sand stuck to him before you go chasing him around the tank.... if it isnt ich chasing him will stress him out and he will get it for sure. Sometimes if the spots are not all over (just a couple) I will leave fish alone and they usually go away.

    Bubble Tip Anemone HELP!?!

Anemones should be put in a well established tank...2 mo. old is not well established. Tank should be up and running at least 8 mo to 1yr. for the tank to have all the nutrients and stuff that anemones need. Probably unstable water conditions that it can not tolerate. JMO. Good luck

    Found in filter bags

maybe there were eggs that hatched out in your filter bags... that is so cool. I just wish i would something like that in my filter.

    Anemone

I really don't feed them. I use a Flake food and usually some of it falls into the zoas. I dont like to turn off my flow to target feed so I just let them get their nutrients from the light, water column and whatever food falls into them! You can really get some great deals from reefs2go.

    Yellow Tang curse?

I would say maybe bad timing (healthwise), along with something internal(parasitic) or maybe stress.

    Bulging brain coral.

Been following this thread.... any new update on brain? Are there still bubbles? I'm interested b/c I would like to get one. I have not had good luck keeping them in the past but I've gotten better lighting since then.

    bushy coral

Sometimes they just close up like that for no reason. It's probably fine, could be a snail or something touched it and caused it to close up. Give it a few hours or even a day. I did a Pwc the other day and my corals would not extend for a couple of days but now they're back to normal.

    Anemone

They look great! What kind of zoa's did you get? I bought some green apple zoa's from reefs2go awhile ago and they still look good. I have even switched them to different tanks and they are still very healthy looking. I think your nems were a good buy!
