I think as far as another hyper agressive tank goes I want to hold off until I get my 125 up and running with the africans again. Probably early next year. Reason being, I'm more comfortable overstocking that tank because my filtration is soooo much better.

And then I'd feel obligated to set up breeder tanks lol and I've got other tank plans before that happens again. Already went through that with my malawi tank. Those Fish breed like crazy...

I've never had convicts but I'm not fond of the idea of either rehoming any other fish during mating or having only convicts

Nice. I've always wanted discus just never had a tank I thought was right for them. I want like a 65 tall. Or bigger but has to be tall. I think it would showcase the fish better. That's just me though

Don't want mbuna my 125 was a malawi cichlid tank and that's my plan for it when I set it back up. I'm not a huge fan of oscars cus they get to big and then they get lazy, and I've done oscars already. Was thinking kribs since its still a cichild and I could have more since they stay smaller...

That's a good deal if the tank holds water. And really even if it doesn't, 30 bucks for a few tubes of silicon and a few hours resealing(if you trust yourself), I'd buy it.

I can relate. I painted my 72 and hung my filters too soon and scratched some paint off and before I moved it inside of a closet you could see daylight and it drove me nuts...

Keep your eyes on craigslist. I just seen a reef ready 125 with stand canopy and sump tank for 350. And a tank only for I think 75. I woulda jumped on the deal but I have nowhere to keep anymore empty aquariums. The problems of an addict.... lmao

It might depend what chemical it is and how much it gets dispersed into the air but I had to flea bomb my house a few years back and I just shut off my filters and pumps and covered the tank for the two hours I had to be gone and I just aired the house out before uncovering and turning the tank...

I'd go with a pair. Angels can get fairly aggressive towards each other when it comes to territory.

Thanks. Yea I made one using a maxijet and an old siphon vacuum with the co2 line ran into it then stuffed some poly floss to slowe down the water flow so it dissolves more efficiently
