    Crabs will pick at the kenya tree sometimes in my tank. when they do this the kenya tree closes up .

    catching a fish

    get a Gator aid bottle cut the top off. Turn the part that look like a funnel around and stick it back into the remaining part of the bottle. Put some type of bait in the bottle then fill it with your aquarium water. Once the fish swims in it will not be able to figure out how to get out. Work...

    Aqua C Remora Pro Question

    I had the same problem with my regular remora. I replaced the PH and cleaned it good. After it went through the break in again it is work the same as when I first got it.

    I use a razor blade scraper. They are 3 dollar at hardware stores. This takes the coralline and green allege of with very little effort.

    Are broken compact fluorescent bulbs harmful?

    Can anyone give me a good reason why I should keep my PS?

    I think it has alot to do with smaller bubles when they are talking about changing the air stone. Smaller bubbles have more surfacer area, and they also take longer to float to the surface. Which is what you want in a skimmer,more dwell time to collect the dissolved solids.

    Water changes

    I Would test your water and change accordingly. Every tank is different. Check your paramitters and get a good feel of how long it takes for readings to start rising then change accordingly.

    Ok, I think I went too far..

    Iwould suggest using a Phosban reactor With ROWAphos in it. Works wonder on removing Po4, silicate and arsenic. I use the 2 little fishes Phosban 150 reactor. Some info http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/june2004/review.htm

    How do you reduce algea?

    I know that pond that are in direct unlight seem to grow much more alage.
