Generally I've been told not too. That your crayfish will just wind up a snack for your fish. Although I have managed to keep a crayfish just fine with my cichlids

Upgraded my 20 gal tank to a 55. Used the same rocks and 5 gal of old water and the rest was new water. I set it up last weds 1-9 and plan on putting my fish in Monday 1-14. Is this long enough to let the water get ready?

On 2nd thought not gonna use old water starting fresh so thoughts?
