the lights i have on there are (2) colarlite 36"compacts that fit the lenght of the 72"tank with double bulbs, we took out the 2-50/50 doulbe bulbs that came with them and replaced with 2 double sunpac 96 watt 10,000 K daylights we also have a florescent 72" with 2 34"atinic reef bulbs (...

thanks , the cascade filter has a 2 foot wand that goes on the back of the tank and shoots water over the surface towards the front , is this enaough or should i still aim the powerheads towards the top

i bought a rose anemone yesterday but searching out pics today none look exactly like mine , so do i have something different?? sorry no way to get a pic.. its 3" across with rosey/salmon colored base and tips/bulbs, but the tenticles are a florescent apple to a dark green??? is this normal??

i have 6 tiny hermits and they havent gone near it yet

we just added a rose bubbletip anemone for our maroon clowns tonight , the arrowcrab was just poking at it ??? will it hurt it , should i remove the crab????

weirdest thing ive seen yet ,, :? today one tiny redleg hermit crab was being molested by 2 bigger crabs ,first i thought they were trying to kill it and separated them to either end of the tank but in a hurry they found it again , the smaller of the 2 quit as the bigger took over , i thought...

this thing is growing in a hole in a peice of rock , it appears round but has a growth comming off it that looks like a tail, in fact when i first saw it i thought it was brown algea then as it grew i thought it was a worm with one end coiled around itself like a snake dose ? ,it dosnt move at...

Im chemical phobic , and was just wondering if it would mess up test results ( nitrats etc,

if its brownish in color it happened to mine and i was told it was stress related ,

do you know if the bio spiro ever leaves the tank ,, im worried about false readings??
