    Pretty much any plant is going to get destroyed IMO, try fake plants, that's what I've got. You can try some of the Anubis, they seem to be tougher for the cichlids to rip through

    Johanni's are one of the most, if not the most aggressive african out there... You need a bigger tank or to add alot more fish to share the aggression or both :)
