    Blackout Nightmare !!! :O(

If i had an algae problem i'd gladly take my plants suffering to cure it. They'll just grow back in a matter of weeks. If you discover the cause of the algae and rectify, then you shouldnt have to do this process again Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Plants starting to die?

Another option is to wrap tin foil strips around the tube at various intervals. You can cover as much or as little as you like to lower light levels Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

You mention a dark blue test on the phosphates.... From my time when i used to test i know thats the upper limits of that test. This tells me you already have plenty of phosphate. So the more likely cause is flow. Maybe the nutrients are not being circulated well enough. Sent from my iPhone...

Any excess will show up white once under water. I use it very carefully. The plant will hide the glue eventually. Also by the time the glue fails the plant has rooted firmly onto wood or stone so its no issue. Super glue 'gel' is the best stuff Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

Thank you. I run mine for 6 hours in one stint. Ive had to be very careful with those anubias. Too much light and the leaves melt slightly. Its really a case of observing and adjusting. I used to use fishing line but now i use super glue! Drain tank below the branch. I dry the area im about to...

I find it incredibly easy now. Dose very little. Run co2 pretty lean but consistent. Keep my lighting low snd resist urges to ramp it up. Plants are chosen to suit the conditions. I actually much prefer the low light scapes now too. Crypts, buces and anubias' are more interesting to me than...

After careful monitoring ive decided they are scratches and not cracks so ive continued with my current scape. The low light tank has really started to take shape. Remember with such low light tanks, fert dosing really can be lean. I dose 2ml per week of each standard EI solution and do 2X 50% water change with no ill effects of deficiencies on my plants Sent from my iPad using Aquarium Advice

The flower once opened will only last a few days before dying. I cut them off early. Wasted energy Well with a regular anubias new growth is light green and slowly seems to darken. The anubias gold stats that light green colour. Its ok for contrast i suppose Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium...
