Well its about time it matured and got healthy :lol: was beginning to wonder there :razz:

I have been really enjoying them. I have to admit I was shocked that they just now showed up. The tank is a little over a year old now, I think, and they just started popping up lol.

Thanks reefing Madness. Was shocked to see them. Have always heard Sponges are hard to keep and they just popped out of nowhere. :)

I have found several of these growing in my tank as of late. I am thinking they are sponges but not sure. Can anyone tell from the pic? If so is this good or bad lol.

Just got both of my RW-8's in yesterday and wow! I only used 1 on my 36g so far and upon it starting up the water was about to slosh out of my tank lol. had to adjust it quick :eek:. Felt sorry for one of my hermit's he was holding on to a rock for dear life until he got blown off the rock. Sure...

Thanks for the info Mebbid :) Yeah the tang may not be staying with me, he has been doing great and still kinda small. If he doesn't grow too quickly wil keep him because I am planning on a bigger tank, 200g, when we get ready to move into new home. Will have much more room then lol. Damsels...

Hey seaweed :dance: Yes long time no see haha. I have to say I am so amazed at the difference. I used a blade to clean mine today during maintenance and WOW....huge difference. And my lawnmower blenny and sailfin tang ha a good time gobbling up the floating pieces lol. The one I bought works...

Stupid I know but wanted to be safe, is it ok to use a regular razor blade to get algae off of the tank glass when a regular scraper won't do it? Just wanting to be safe lol.

Thanks mrvincent! So far one or two have attached in the fuge so gonna move them probably tomorrow. The others haven't so I am thinking about taking the rubble and putting them all in a separate chamber of the fuge so they don't have a way to touch the bottom and let them go from there. I love...

thanks Sniper...will give it a go and see what happens. I cleaned the HOB fuge and took out some of the chaeto. Should I just the blue lights for now on the fuge?

I just received 5 new rodactis mushrooms from saltwaterfish.com today. None of them are on rocks and if I put them in my tank they are gonna fly everywhere. Would it be safe to put them in my HOB fuge with some rock rubble to see if they will attach so I can put them in the tank itself?????

ROFL...love the pic :lol: Yeah I hate that it happened, was my first RFA and was loving the colors on it. But, lessons learned and now what too look out for now. Thankfully my BTA seems to be doing ok so far.

Thanks guys, I knew it would happen sooner or later...just had that feeling lol. But glad now rather than later when I had more int he tank. The corals that did survive are starting iopen back up and looking better now. I think after another good WC all will be back to normal.

They should be. Heck when ordering online they are usually in a bag almost 24 hours.
