For that 6g I would do all zoanthid polyps of various colors and some shrooms as well as leathers would work fine. I would also add in a pair of harlequin shrimp and then pick them up a chocolate chip star for cheap every couple weeks. I will be doing this in my 3g

I have personally noticed better coral growth and happiness dosing a bit of trace elements on the weekends I don't do PWCs. This is just IMO, I get free kent marine products so why not :)

yea you want to fasten the coral to a small chunk of LR then epoxy that to your reef. I use the aquarium safe marine epoxy that is green with the white core and dries white on your reef. SPS corals are not that hard to keep at all as long as you have good flow, and strong lighting with decent...

I would keep him with some moderate-high lighting with some good flow as melosu suggested. These corals are like weeds, leave it where it is at the very least and aim a pw in its direction.

I run 2 1200s for water movement and they are on 24/7. Also have another one powering a remora and a 900 powering the chiller. Great pumps, maybe you can exchange the 600's for a few 1200s or even 900's

You can go ahead and break off the dead branches if you can do so without damaging the coral. The heads should grow and then start to spit, good luck.

You could do like 3 peppermint shrimp, and then a little clown goby and then use this small tank as a frag tank for the 29. I have been wanting to do this for a while. You could keep anything you wanted under 7wpg if you can keep the temp/salinity stable enough :) Good luck.

The Chad, you can make your own rubble with a hammer and a a screw driver :) -get a little plastic tupperware and fill it with LR rubble, then you can cut the head off the xenia and put it in the container and set it on your sand bed in low flow to get it to attach. Good luck :)
