Hello all! I have a 120g with a Red Oscar, Tiger Oscar, and a Common Pleco in it. I still want a couple more fish in the tank but don't know what's compatible. I want a Red Tail Barracuda or maybe a Bichir in there but I'm up for any suggestions.

I need help coming up with ideas for stocking my tank. I want a cichlid tank but not a bunch of small ones. I want more or less bigger ones. I would also want a pleco in the tank as I really do have a love for them. You think a common pleco would be okay with cichlids?

Could I keep all the fish you said in the tank? (Blood Parrot, Firemouth, Severum, blue Acara, Eartheaters, Jack Dempseys, Tiger Oscar, and Green Terror). I'll assume just some of those because that sounds a little crowded.

Well I really like bottom feeders and oddball fish. I was looking at green terror cichlids but I'm not sure what I could have with them. Any ideas? (Btw its a 120g, not 85g).

Well just found that there is Green Terrors as well and they've seemed to catch my eye way more so than the RT's. So same questions, tank mates, pair, etc. except with Green Terrors.

So I saw someone talking about Red Terrors on here and I currently am looking for what to stock my 120g with once it cycles. I looked into them and they seemed pretty interesting to me. You guys think I could have a pair in a 120g? If so (and this may be a stupid qustion) is there any other tank...

Also, don't forget that Endlers, like most live bearers, will breed EXTREMELY rapidly and may take over your tank. With a larger tank like yours and heavily planted the fry are likely to survive and take over the tank so be ready to have a place for the endlers.

I had the same problem with my overflow box and used the sponge idea. It defiantly helped but it still did make some noise. Eventually though you do get used to it.

So, tore down my 120 salt. Couldn't keep up with the maintenance/price so I decided a freshwater setup would be more suitable for me. Ok update time! I got a new protein skimmer because my pump broke on my old one and thought that this one wouldn't get the job done. It's a coralife 220g skimmer and looked great for the price. I also ordered a new powerhead, sand, the rest of my live rock, a ro/di system, and a few small things...
