I just found out that the Butterfly isnt sick. it is stress from acclimation. I was gentle, but the Tang has been getting really close and rubbing against the Butterfly.

I npticed that when I was acclimating him, he kept coming to the surface and almost breathed in air? I think it is a paratie. What do I do!!! I dont have a QT tank set up. Can I put him in a bowl or something and temp. use it as a QT to keep him in?

His eye isnt cloudy, it has little things on it. Like blurry ovals. Will a FW dip cure him?

No. I am trying to say to still have your overflow feed water to the wet/dry. Just use your return pump and pump th water from the wet/drys sump area into your new sump/fuge. Then buy a slightly stronger pump and use it to return the water to you main tank from the new sump/fuge. Understand?

Yes, that is probably the reason. Mine never made foam, until I got my 2 Clowns and the Moorish Idol. The it started overflowing with foam. You just need a heavier bio load. Thats all. HTH

Well, I use a 20g sump, but that is my only thing seperate from my main tank. You could try using a pump thats a LITTLE stronger to return your water and use your return pump that you have now to pump water from your wet/dry into the sump/fuge. Just make sure that your return pump is stronger...

I called them and told them that he isnt eating, they told me to try a peice of lettuce to entice him to eat, or try flake food. I tried both and he still wont eat. I am going to call them tomorrow and ask them if I can exchange it for a different fish.
