you got pods relax and keep tank empty except regular feeding and maint like Dskidmore said. Find a new LFS for sure !!!

I think they are selling them at half price to unsuspecting customers and then only paying half of that when they buy the larger mature fish back from the customer because it is to big for their tank.

Dang LFS is selling Juv regal tangs for $49 and full grown ones for $89 I bet then are selling them as "Mini" tangs Some guy will buy them for their 30 gal tank and once it grows up he will wonder why his ammonia is high Sometimes the LFS can be greedy Thus ends my lfs rant

I have a 29 gal also Are you going to be able to get enough surface aggitation with your PH pointing towards the front like that? I have mine on the sides pointing up to the surface and a Penquin 350 creating some surface movement. Just a thought.... Nice rockscape :thumb:

Greetings all!! I recently purchased a Royal gramma!! What a great looking fish! It took him about 24 hours to stake his claim to a spot within the rocks but he is now an open water swimmer with his tank mates. Tank Contents: Rock Anemone 12 various hermits 1 False perc clown 1 Blue green...

Real sunlight exposure can do this also i have heard

I have not seen any aggression toward anemones though they do tend to take a swipe at each other often otherwise they all get along

Jasno is correct. You need something in there for the bacteria to grow on. I would really just wait and toss a shrimp in there when you got your live rock Good luck and keep us posted.... post a pic with your LR in it :)

My 2 clowns sleep on the bottom every night also It is odd that they do not run for cover once the lights go out

Opinions vary.... but 15-20% seems to be the range most folks lean toward. How much LR and what are your levels? Please give us some more info on your setup What kind of fish are you planning on getting?
