Hi everyone

Not sure if I’m in the right section but I’ve noticed there is a ‘fluff’ like substance on my mangrove root in my aquarium - I’ve had a look on google and it appears to be some sort of fungal bacteria which is not harmful to fish. Has anyone come across this before & is it safe?

Do I need to do anything or try to remove it?

My fish seem to enjoy nibbling on it!

Thanks in advance.

Biofilm, a tasty snack for fish & inverts. It will disappear on it's own eventually
