10g nano tank

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Depends on what you want to spend.
-A HOB filter rated for 20-30 g. w/ GFO & carbon
-Sand (can go BB if you prefer that)
-LR/Base rock/combo
-nano powerhead(s)
-lighting (LED, T5 HO, PC). Since the tank would be short the light wouldn't cost too much
-test kits! (API for standard/okay accuracy and red sea or salifert are better, but more expensive)
-refractometer (or hydrometer)
-good quality salt mix
-Fish: 2-3 Small gobies (random ex. Hector's goby, clown goby, yasha goby), One firefish can be kept, but I think 2-3 fish total would be all for a 10
-coral:anything your light can support (4 bulb would grow prob. even some SPS)

I have a canister filter already. Can I add gfo and chemipure in it together?
