This thread confuses me.

How much sand you buy is upto you, more = deeper sandbed, less = smaller sandbed.

Doesnt have to confuse, but my question is how deep is good.

Likely harmless. There are all kinds of filter feeders living in good live rock.

Thanks couse there are some of them lol

Doesnt have to confuse, but my question is how deep is good.
If you want a sand sifting critter, deeper is bettter. If you want to be able to vaccum it throughly, shallow is better.

Deeper can create odd anerobic bacteria effects which are good and bad. Good in that they can turn nitrogen in the water into a gas the percipitates out of the aquarium. Bad is some of the other gasses they produce are nasty, and you don't want to release pockets of it suddenly. A sand stirring critter will keep a deep sand bed healthy.

Ok, i pick tge tank with the bad news that the guy is a ******* so is not completly dry ready so i have to wait till monday maybe for move all, so i paint the back in black today tomorrow i will clean all dirty parts and dust.

The bad think is that is not what i was specting to have but here it is i hope to forget all the bad things when finish.
