I suppose, with some structural additions, it would work... but a 55 is 12-13" front to back, a 75 is 18-19" front to back... so it won't work without some modification.

What about a 90 gallon stand?

I'm pretty sure a 90g is the same length and width as a 75g but just taller! Because my stand says it's made for 75/90g tanks! :)

Yeah, a standard 90 is just a tall 75... so that would work. To be certain, the stand should be essentially 4' x 18"... though it might be just an inch wider or so.

Alright cool found one on craigslist. I think he said it is 4 feet by 2 feet

That would work. If it doesn't have a solid top, a nice thick piece of plywood would be required, but that's not going to require much work to fashion on there.
