5th day cycle

well im on my 5th day of fishless cycle.....40g breeder


Ammonia...4.0ppm
Ph...7.6
High Ph...7.4
Nitrites...0.0ppm
nitrates...0.0ppm

is this pretty much what ill see on the 5th day

It depends... Why you need to see are nitrAtes. That means the ammonia is being consumed essentially by the nitrItes, and that is the product. Just try to be patient, it doesn't happen overnight. My cycle took 3 weeks. I didn't even ever show a nitrite reading due to the bacteria in my live rock and live sand.. Hope this helps!

Yep pretty much; it can take up to 2 weeks or so for the ammonia to start to drop.
