7.5g Shrimp/Planted Tank Build

I don't think so. I will likely dose glut, but not use CO2 gas. My current 36g and the future 64g will have it, tho.

Be sure to research how glut effect the shrimp you choose, some are sensitive to it. The only ones I know for sure aren't are cherries.

So, I've decided to stay a bit low tech with this tank for now. And also have stock on order to fill 'er up!

Black EcoComplete
CaribSea Tahitian Moon Sand
Finnex LED fixture
Sponge filter
Fissidens Fontanus
Manzanita Driftwood
(Still looking for a carpet plant)


Fauna:
Blue glass livebearers (Poecilia trinidad)
Blue pearl shrimp

Shrimp and fish are shipping out Monday, should be here Wednesday. Which means there should be more pictures soon.
Also have some Fissidens fontanus coming in. Adding it to my smallest piece of dw which will be the main decor for the 7.5g.
Not sure what other flora I should put in there...

Haha with the fissidens there may be no other room. Slow growing pffft...

I did a small all ferns and mosses tank a few years back that came out really well.

I wouldn't worry it can get pretty thick. When I was letting it grow wild I was thinning by the handful lol.
