that is the problem. I know that bala sharks can not go into a 75 (or so I have read in some places) and in others it looks like a minimum recommended tank size is 70 gallons. Aqadvisor lists them as an option.

I need realistic advice as to how many or what kind of shark could I fit into a 75 gallon tank to make it appealing, healthy for them and not something they will outgrow.

if you count a sharktank as one 6 inch "shark"(actually cyprininds)a rainbow, redtail shark would work lol. you could have more fish, just not ones that look like it

Not sure it would work. Most sharks are aggressive to their own kind (red tailed, black, etc) and a group of balas wouldn't do in a 75. So I think you might be stuck with just one shark and some other fish. Maybe others will have some more ideas though.
