I have a 75 Gallon FOWLR system set up with about 80 lbs of live rock...

I was wondering if I could take the center brace from under the middle of the stand... to fit a wet/dry sump?

It's supported on the edges of the wooden tank and I also have the matching canopy from Petsmart. Its the light wood one 75 gallon.

Right now I'm hindered on space with the two sections below. the wall is just an insert. Would it be safe to remove?

I would not remove it with the tank full....Is there any way to drain the tank temporarily to take out the brace and ad the sump then put it back and fill?

I could but I wonder if it would hold the weight... I read some where that it just needs support around the edges and not the middle. 0X
