just wondering if anyone has done this with a tank.. so that the tank is perpendicular to the wall, and thus allows viewing from both sides.
kinda like this...

any suggestions for landscaping? i'm having trouble building up my lr without touching the acrylic, and still have some 'open ocean' areas with just sand.
are there any aquarium landscaping articles/sites etc.?
thx

You could use AquaStik Epoxy Putty to bond LR together and make one big mountain like piece for each side of the tank. This way you can put the LR as close as you like to the acrylic, but not touching it. You can buy Aquastik Epoxy Putty on

My tank is set up the same way. Best suggestion is use the smaller pieces of rock on the bottom. The structure will be much more stable that way. You won't need to adhere the pieces either.

Cheers
